One of the most photographed beaches in the world, Olu Deniz`s crescent shaped bay leads to a gorgeous, secluded lagoon explaining how this area is known as the `Turquoise Coast`. There are water sports available from the olu Deniz beach, though not in the protected lagoon area.
Stretching along the seafront are restaurants, bars and cafes offering ice cold drinks, local and international cuisine. There are shops in Olu Deniz to provide you all of the basics, required on holiday, but for a wider variety just jump on the dolmus to Hisaronu or Fethiye. The temperature in Olu Deniz can range in winter from 15°-21° and during the summer between 26°-35°, perfect for topping up your tan and then cooling off in the crystal clear seas during the day. There are many great day trips available from Hisaronu for the more adventurous holiday makers, as well as activities on land or offshore.
