The relaxing fishing resort of Gulluk is situated in Mandalya Bay on the Aegean Sea, also known as the `Turquoise Coast`. It is well known for the wonderful fish restaurants which have been converted from the old warehouses and store buildings, now serving sea bass and bream, freshly caught and brought back to the harbour.
The small beach is pleasant and offers boat trips and excursions, whilst on Thursdays you can find the local market in the village square. Here you can find souvenirs, clothes, spices, fresh fruit and the local speciality - apple tea.
There are a limited number of bars, yet Gulluk is in the process of undergoing a facelift, with cinema, sports centre, swimming pool and fitness centre all being erected. You can find something to suit all tastes when it comes to eating, whether you wish to sample the superb local traditional cuisine or international dishes from around the world.
