The temperature in Ribeira Brava can reach 20° out of season and into the late 20`s during the summer months, so grab your towel and head to the beach to top up your tan.
When you can drag yourself away from the beach, Ribeira Brava is great for shopping, offering some great cheap holiday souvenirs. Many of the shops look like houses, yet behind the doors you will find mini-malls and wall filled with gifts.
Waterfront cafes serve local and international cuisine and are perfect for chilling out in the evening with a few drinks as the sun goes down after a day on the beach, or exploring the wonderful levadas which are mini canals leading you through the spectacular scenery.
