The temperature off season can range between 15-21°, while during the summer from 26-31°, perfect for sunbathing on the long beach and cooling off in the crystal clear water. Life tends to revolve around the main square, in Lardos, with it`s natural spring water fountain and restaurants, cafes and bars. In the evening there is a laidback vibe in the bars, where you can enjoy a drink, mixing with the locals and sample the traditional, Greek cuisine, which comes highly recommended. If you are looking for a livelier atmosphere then a trip to Lindos is probably your best bet, where you can find a couple of discos. Locally produced pottery, leather wares and traditional rugs are some of the holiday souvenirs to try your bartering skills out, or head into nearby Lindos for a more varied choice. General Information Transfer Times Lardos is approximately 67 minutes from Rhodes Airport - 80km (50 miles). Lothiarika and Pefkos beaches are worth a visit also. Great Water Sports Water skiing, tubing and snorkelling are available to book in Lardos, but the most popular sport here is windsurfing. Great Day Trips Local buses and boat trips are easily accessible to visit Rhodes Town, while the beautiful resort of Lindos is highly recommended. Historical Excursions The castle ruins and Ipseni Monastery are within walking distance from Lardos, while the historic Rhodes Town and Temple of Athena at Lindos can be reached by boat or local bus.
