Located on the east side of the Pari peninsula, Lixouri sits directly opposite the capital Argostoli, with a ferry connecting the two resorts. It is a popular holiday destination for couples and families who are attracted to the sandy beaches and a range of amenities.
The Lixouri holiday season runs from April to November, when the temperature can rise from 20° through to the early 30`s, ideal for sunbathing and swimming on the fine red sands of nearby Lepeda Beach.
If you can drag yourself away from the beautiful nearby beaches you will find a number of shops, boutiques and supermarkets in Lixouri, although for a greater variety just take the ferry over to Argostoli.
