Located on the eastern end of Crete in the Gulf of Mirabello, Aghios Nikolaos is a fairly large resort backed by spectacular hills, covered with olive groves. The temperature can range between 14-23° off season and a wonderful 26-32° during the summer months, perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
The sand and pebble beaches that stretch from Aghios Nikolaos along the coastline are great for swimming, sunbathing and water sports with lovely, secluded coves accessible by boat. The great thing about Aghios Nikolaos is that you can relax during the day time, then either party through the night or enjoy a chilled evening in one of the local, traditional tavernas.
