Situated on the east coast of the island, Barbati is 10 miles north of Corfu Town and is popular with families and couples who prefer a relaxing, holiday with a low key nightlife. Barbati is at the foot of the spectacular Mount Pantokrator with a long stretch of beach in which is sheltered and safe, having been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness.
There are a handful of bars, restaurants and tavernas in Barbati having wonderful views, perfect for sharing a bottle of wine and watching the sun go down. Local traditional Greek dishes as well as international cuisine are available and occasionally some will host a Greek dancing evening.
Whilst on holiday in Barbati you can expect the temperature to range from 14-21° out of season and 25-32° during the summer months, excellent for lazing the day away on the beach, topping up your tan and cooling off in the warm sea. A limited number of shops are on hand for those holiday essentials, such as mini-markets, souvenir shops and money exchange facilities.
