The fairly new beach resort of Makadi Bay lies 35km south of Hurghada, with hotels dotted along the seafront, with lovely sandy beaches sloping gently into the crystal clear sea. From 20° in December and January, through to 35° in July and August, Hurghada really is the all year round holiday resort, and with the sea temperature averaging 20° in January to a glorious 26° from July to September it is no wonder that holiday makers return year after year.
The bay offers superb snorkelling and diving opportunities, and most hotels offer a variety of other watersports, as well as facilities to keep the whole family entertained, like golf, volleyball and tennis, luxurious spas and a host of amenities for children.
