Located on the east coast of Cyprus, Larnaca offers a wide sandy bay, approximately 8 miles in length and filled with sandy beaches. The Larnaca weather can reach the early 20`s out of season and up to the mid 30`s during the summer months, just right for swimming and sunbathing on the gorgeous beaches.
The relaxed atmosphere of Larnaca is complimented by the palm tree lined promenade in the centre, surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and open air terraces, to enjoy the views whilst sipping an ice cold beer. There are plenty of activities available for couples and families to enjoy, on land or in the sea, from one of the 3 beaches. A great selection of shops in Larnaca offer designer shops, fashion boutiques, market stalls, craft and souvenir shops, selling all the latest trends and some good cheap holiday gifts. Along the promenade and around the marina you will find excellent restaurants, cafes and tavernas offering delicious local cuisine and exquisite fish dishes, as well as international meals and fast food, to suit all tastes. The 3 beaches in Larnaca are superb. South of the main beach is Mackenzie Beach, with it`s picturesque harbour and superior fish restaurants, whilst just to the north the beaches stretch for miles with great facilities.

Larnaca is home to plenty of fashion shops and boutiques, colourful markets and craft shops selling some good, locally made, cheap holiday souvenirs.

Horse riding, go-karting, fishing, golf, camel rides and trips to the fun park are popular on a Larnaca holiday.
