Located on the south west coast of Tenerife, La Caleta is a small coastal resort with a handful of restaurants and bars and a small sand/pebble beach. A short walk towards Adeje is the Playa de la Enramada sandy beach, while in the opposite direction you will find Playa de Diego Hernandez, a nudist beach.
La Caleta has some excellent fish restaurants. Many of the bars & restaurants are located right on the sea front with majestic views across the bay or out to sea. There are many small saltwater pools for children to enjoy; one of them has a waterfall. There are plenty of watersports and boat trips available to book from the hotels.
There are some great bars and local taverns in La Caleta and you will always be able to find a place to dance long into the night. If you want to kick the party atmosphere up a notch then head to nearby Playa de las Americas where the fun never stops and the beach is lined with clubs and discos.
