Just 3km to the north of Playa De Las America is the resort of Costa Adeje. It's quieter than its bustling neighbour, Playa de las Americas, but it's close enough if you feel like partying the night away. If the quiet life is more your scene, take a stroll along the promenade, secure a table with a beachfront view and sip a glass of wine as the sun goes down over the Atlantic Ocean.
There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants with a good selection of local and international foods. If you want to get out and about during your stay, why not check out Tenerife's most famous attraction, Mount Teide? The area around Las Canadas is great for exploring with its conveniently located parador, cable car and visitors' centre.
The resort of Costa Adeje is situated on the black volcanic sand beach of Playa de Fanabe and offers a good selection of water sports and nearby water parks. The temperature in the winter can reach up to 20°, while in the summer months it can reach as high as 28°- 33°.
