Located some 8 miles north of the capital, Arrecife, is Costa Teguise which can boast four golden sandy beaches. The main beach is Las Cucharas, a large curving bay with crystal clear waters. This all year round holiday resort has temperatures ranging from 19°-23° in the winter and 24°-29° during the summer.
Well suited for families and couples alike, Costa Teguise has plenty of small squares with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as many watersports, a water park, golf course and excursions and boat trips to keep the kids occupied. The Plaza Pueblo Marinero, the old village style square, is where you will find the nightlife with bars and restaurants, with tables out in the square. For those holiday makers wishing to party into the night then a taxi to Puerto del Carmen will offer you a number to chose from.
