Located on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria, Playa de Taurito is wonderful if you are looking for a relaxing holiday spending the day on the beach with a good book. The black sand beach is well sheltered and there are just a few beach cafes selling ice cold drinks so you would need to head into nearby Puerto Mogan for a choice of bars and restaurants.
Playa de Taurito has a tropical palm lined lido, a lagoon style pool complete with bridges, terraces and bars, but holiday makers looking for activities need to head off to Puerto Rico or Puerto Mogan for local shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife.
