The peaceful up and coming resort of Nuevo Horizonte is on the east coast of Fuerteventura and is just 1km away from Caleta de Fuste. A beautiful cliff top walk connects these two resorts with good access to local amenities.
Nuevo Horizonte is the local name for Costa Antigua and is the perfect resort for those seeking a quiet relaxing holiday with a few bars and restaurants nearby. The weather in Nuevo Horizonte can range between 19°-23° in the winter and 27°-32° in the summer, making it a popular all year round destination.
Being one of the oldest villages on Fuerteventura, Nuevo Horizonte was once the capital for a short period of time and in the centre stands the picturesque church which was erected in 1785. You will find a few bars and restaurants offering local and international cuisine around the resort.
