Canary Island Holidays
The Canary Islands sit off the south-west coast of Spain, to the west of Morocco, boasting fantastic temperatures. The Canary Islands weather can reach 20° out of season and the late 20`s during the summer months. Consisting of Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, La Palma, Hierra and La Gomera you will find a mixture of quiet villages, great nightlife, superb beaches and vibrant, buzzing resorts backed by mountains with hilltop villages, stunning views, volcanoes and forests. The largest and probably most popular of the Canary Islands is Tenerife, whilst Gran Canaria is a blend of desert land, mountains, wide beaches and tropical forests. Fuerteventura has the finest beaches in the Canary Islands, long stretches consisting of fine sand, whereas Lanzarote resembles the surface of the moon in many parts due to it`s volcanic origin. The local cuisine in the Canary Islands is a mixture of African and Spanish flavours with fish dishes drizzled in tasty sauces and exotic fruits very popular.
