La Palma is the capital of Majorca, situated in the Bay of Palma, attracting the jet-setting crowd with their luxury yachts and cruisers lining up in the busy harbour. Palma Mallorca is not set on a beach, but nearby Arenal, Palma Nova, C`an Pastilla and Cala Mayor all have wonderful sandy beaches.
