Located on the east coast of Majorca, not far from Porto Cristo, is the small, relaxing resort of Cala Mandia, with a good stretch of gently shelving, sandy beach. The Cala Mandia weather can range between 15-21° out of season and up to 33° during the summer months, perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Cala Mandia is particularly popular with families and couples wanting to avoid the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts. The shops in Cala Mandia offer good, cheap holiday souvenirs, such as ceramics, embroidery and leather wares, whilst a good choice of restaurants serve local traditional cuisine, international food and delicious fresh fish dishes.
Most of the hotels in Cala Mandia provide in-house entertainment in the evenings, although there are a number of bars available for you to enjoy a few drinks whilst watching the sun go down.
