Situated on the north coast of the island, Alcudia, Majorca is close to the pine clad Aucanada Peninsular that separates Alcudia Bay and Pollensa Bay. The Alcudia beach is 8km of fine, golden sand, gently shelving into to the sea, one of the longest on Majorca and, with the protection of the peninsula, the probably the warmest.
The Alcudia weather can range from 15-21° out of season and up to 33° during the summer months, perfect for topping up your tan and cooling off in the warm sea. When you can drag yourself away from the glorious beach head to the lovely harbourside to enjoy a Spanish tapas meal or delicious seafood dish, alternatively you can opt for international cuisine to suit all tastes. Most of the hotels in Alcudia provide in-house entertainment and there are a great choice of bars and music venues around the resort, as well as a handful of discos, but the Alcudia nightlife is not like the hustle bustle of Magaluf. Craft and souvenir shops are dotted all over Alcudia, as well as fashionable boutiques, selling the latest fashions, leather wares, jewellery and ceramics.
