San Antonio lies on the west coast of the island, 10 miles from Ibiza Town, extremely popular with the young and lively crowd, as well as couples and families. The San Antonio weather reaches up to 21° out of season and can top 32° during the summer months.
Along the bay there are a number of small beaches to choose from within walking distance, as well as many others reached via ferry or local bus service, all gently shelving into the shallow, warm sea. A wide selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and fast food outlets serve everything from delicious fresh fish dishes, local and international cuisine to burgers and chips, all day breakfasts and fish and chips.
When it comes to nightlife, San Antonio is the clubbing capital of Ibiza. The famous Café Del Mar is one of the beach bars and cafes where the holiday makers flock to watch the incredible sunrises, after spending the night dancing until dawn. There are so many bars, nightclubs and discos in San Antonio that you are spoilt for choice, with over 150 bars and clubs in the West End alone, boasting fantastic music and all the top DJ`s.
Apart from the supermarkets, selling the usual holiday essentials, San Antonio is home to a number of shops to purchase some great cheap holiday souvenirs, such as leather wares, pottery, ceramics and jewellery.
Ferry tours around the island and glass bottom boat trips are popular and there is a good bus system for day trips, not forgetting the famous Disco Bus that runs through the night, transporting you to nightclubs in other resorts.
